What kind of weather is ok for foam?

We can run the party pretty much as usual for light rain/drizzle. The heavier the rain gets, the more the raindrops pop the foam; in a heavy rain the foam can’t pile more than a few inches high. We recommend you keep your foam party if it’s drizzling, and reschedule if it’s pouring.

What kind of weather makes it unsafe to have a foam party?

We CAN’T safely operate our gear in lightning or heavy, gusty wind. If the forecast shows we’ll be able to wait it out without major disruption to our schedule, we can wait for conditions to improve. Otherwise you’ll have to reschedule.

Will my event start on time?

We will do our absolute best to stay on schedule. However, please be patient with event start times, as weather can both slow down setup and strike at the event(s) before yours and make traffic significantly worse. Our operators are awesome and will be doing their absolute best to stay on schedule, and will text or call the number you gave us on your booking form to keep you updated if they’re running more than 10 minutes behind. (We can usually set up in 10-15 minutes in a pinch.)

Can I reschedule?

Yes. Please email info@chicagofoamcompany.com and we’ll help find a new date and time that works for you.

Is there a fee to reschedule?

There is no fee to reschedule, so long as you let us know at least 60 minutes before your scheduled start time.

What if I reschedule less than 60 minutes before my event?

Per the pre-booking agreement that you agreed to, the Late Reschedule Fee is $75 plus any travel fees for your event. This fee goes 100% to the operator for their prep work and for heading out to the rescheduled event.

Can I cancel my event completely?

Yes. Per the pre-booking agreement you’ll get a 50% refund. (The other half is a booking fee that is used to pay our operators and cover event prep and other costs.)
